Yang Yang (Chinese, b. 1953). Acrylic and mixed media on canvas painting depicting Judgement Day: nude figures soaring through a fiery sky, hell hounds racing across the plane, and a figure on a boat crossing a body of water, possibly signifying the River Styx. Monogrammed along the lower right. With two exhibition posters and three pamphlets from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts; one exhibition catalog from the Minneapolis Institute of arts, inscribed and signed by the artist along the front page; two exhibition catalogs from The Museum of Fine Art Shaanxi, inscribed and signed by the artist along the front page; six prints on paper titled “The Pure Stone,” monogrammed in plate along the lower left; photocopies of additional works, inscribed and signed by the artist; four photos of the artist’s work; and seven postcards featuring the artist’s work.
