Kaisu Fukuda (Japanese/American, 20th c). Large abstract wood sculpture titled “Skating at Pactolus,” comprised of many different pieces of wood smoothly joined together to form a bent shape reminiscent of a maple tree seed. The sculpture rests on a curved stainless steel base.
