Carlo Bugatti Hanging Wall Cabinet

Carlo Bugatti (Italian,1856-1940). Orientalist ebonized wood hanging wall cabinet with elaborate inlaid decoration. The lower shelf rests on a stepped support and is flanked by four graceful columns with bone inlaid capitals, under a profusion of star-shaped decoration. Broad, graphic strips of inlaid copper break up the central decoration and lead the eye to the upper shelf, the edge of which is decorated with a pierced border over copper shields. Provenance: From the Estate of Horst Rechelbacher, Osceola, Wisconsin.
