18th c. Chinese Pale Jade Boy Carving
18th c. Chinese Pale Jade Boy Carving

Chinese pale jade boy carving depicting a boy. The nearly white jade is well carved to show off the russet pebble skin along the back where it is integrated into the decoration of the flowers. The material carving and style of this strongly suggest an 18th century date.
