One large two panel Japanese ink on paper calligraphy screen. Translated the text reads, “Mountains and rivers, one color stretching three thousand li, I lean against the building [waiting] for the wineโs strength to disappear.” This is a poem by the poet Gao Shitan (d. 1146).
