Group of two ornate Indian Pandan spice boxes. The pandan to the left features a beautiful open work base in a shaped, circular form and resting on delicately splayed feet. The flower formed base has eight hinged, heart-shaped compartments surmounted by peacock finials. The central stem in the form of an elephant supporting a pierced, circular filigree cup surmounted by a peacock finial. The top section is detached. The pandan to the right has a beautiful flower shaped body with five hinged, heart shaped compartments surmounted by peacock finials. The central stem has an urn shaped form supporting a pierced, circular filigree cup surmounted by a butterfly motif.
