Italian Majolica platter. Polychrome tin glazed with a central court scene surrounded by reserves depicting the four elements and four human and animal heads. Bordered by scrolling foliate designs and putti and inscribed “Urbini” twice. Decorated along the underside with the image of a bird holding a snake in its mouth under a star.
