Frank Big Bear (American (Anishinaabe), b. 1953). Colored pencil on paper drawing depicting an abstract portrait of a girl with motifs such as a wolf, bear, and eagle pictured in the background. Message on the verso reads: “Sienna, this drawing needs a title. It is yours to title. All the drawings are yours to keep or sell. Sienna you are my shero! Keep on singing & dancing & laughing & smiling.” Signed and dated “Frank Big Bear 11-13-15” along the lower left recto and middle of verso. The artist left a space open on the verso inscribed “Title” for Sienna to title this piece herself.
